The first thing that stood out to me about ABC Kids is how it manages to make learning so enjoyable. The app features a variety of tracing games that guide kids through recognizing letter shapes, associating them with phonics sounds, and using their newfound alphabet knowledge in matching exercises. My toddler quickly took to following the arrows on the screen to trace letters, and the reward system—where they collect stickers and toys for completing games—only adds to their enthusiasm.
What’s particularly impressive about ABC Kids is its thoughtful design, which considers both the needs of the child and the parent. The interface is cleverly structured to keep kids focused on reading and writing, without the distractions of unnecessary buttons or menus. As a parent, I find it easy to access the settings, where I can enable Teacher Mode, review my child’s progress through report cards, or adjust the tracing and phonics games to better suit their learning pace.
Another highlight of ABC Kids is its commitment to being a truly free educational tool. There are no in-app purchases, no third-party ads, and no hidden fees—just pure, uninterrupted learning. This makes it a stress-free experience for both my child and me, allowing us to focus entirely on the learning process.
brilliant app, using it with my 2yo (nearly 3yo) and he loves it. sometimes gets distracted but try and get him to play the app on my phone as much as possible. just wish we could get it on his amazon tablet. but the app is brilliant for learning, even though he is too young to know he is actually learning, he thinks it’s just a game. Great that it is FREE as other apps cost quite a bit but don’t tell you until after you download
